These are the working definitions used across the AEVITAS system. Each term has a stable link and remains open to documented revision.
A
The conditioned, trainable capacity to examine present conditions, select a viable response, enact it, and take responsibility for what follows.
A person exercising deliberate participation within the range of action genuinely available to them.
The practice of reviewing inherited conditions and patterns, then ratifying, revising, or ending their authority over conduct.
A response pattern made reliable through repeated deliberate practice and kept open to revision when conditions change.

The branch concerned with Agency under resistance, adversity, physical demand, risk, and uncertainty.
C
The branch concerned with relation, community, institutions, power, and responsibility beyond the self.
A cycle of calibrated demand, adequate recovery, integration, and increased capacity.

An involuntary bodily or emotional response that arrives before deliberate evaluation.
Trained attention sustained through the Interval, keeping deliberate selection available when distraction, impulse, or strain would otherwise close it.

The present operating space in which conditions are perceived and evaluated and a Selected Output is chosen.

Deliberate action that directs energy outward to alter external conditions.

The accumulating record of costs, consequences, patterns, and repairs carried in conduct, relationships, and the body.

The branch concerned with action selection, enactment, feedback, and recommitment.

The learned return to perspective, evaluation, and selection within the Interval after a First Movement appears.
The response an Agent carries out after selection, whether visible or withheld.
Deliberate action that uses energy to maintain position, wait, refuse, or withhold outward movement.
