Attention is finite
A mind divided by interruption, fear, fatigue, or fixation has less room for deliberate selection. Protecting attention is part of Agency.

Identity is a pattern
The past supplies evidence, not a permanent sentence. Identity changes when repeated conduct changes.

Understanding earns its place when it improves perception, action, or responsible revision.
